The Arizona Heroes Memorial is dedicated to honoring and celebrating Arizona’s heroes, past and present, for their selfless service and sacrifice. The memorial is a place of education where future generations can learn about the courage of the heroes who put themselves in harm’s way to preserve our health, safety, and freedom. The memorial is a solemn place for reflection and remembrance, a refuge for families and friends whose loved ones paid the ultimate price. The Southern Arizona Arts Guild (SAAG) strives to provide a forum for the appreciation and advancement of the arts.

In 2004, Roche Diagnostics made a commitment to the arts in Oro Valley with the establishment of a community gallery housed within their Oro Valley campus. Through a progressive partnership with Art State Arizona (formerly SAACA), the arts have been part of the daily work experience through quarterly gallery exhibitions.

The Children’s Museum Oro Valley (CMOV) expanded and opened a satellite location specially sized for kids ages 0-5. With an Early Childhood Education focus, CMOV’s exhibits, and programs are designed to stimulate curiosity and motivate learning through play. Arts-, literacy- and science-based activities help get our small visitors ready for school.

Western National Parks Association started in 1938 as a funding source to help the National Park Service (NPS) better serve visitors to Casa Grande Ruins and 17 other national monuments. Today, its efforts support many programs and initiatives that enhance visitor understanding and experiences at 70+ national parks: scientific research, aid for partner park projects, community outreach, and educational programs.
